Power

My mind is thinking a million miles an hour
I think about times when I had no power,
The only release is when I’m turning to the powder
In times of darkness the jail is my power.

I thank my counsellor for giving me back my power

I got a big day on Friday
I feel I am getting braver
Its time to change and completely take back power

I have to remember I am not to blame
It’s not my fault
I’ve no need to feel ashamed.
