At the start of 2024 Zach Ali, father of our now services manager Nisaa Ali, was announced as captain of the year for the Mere resort and spa golf club, with his inauguration Mr. captain announced We Are Survivors as the Mere’s charity of the year.
Zach had this to say, “I am excited about my year ahead working alongside We Are Survivors and the Fairmount Cheshire the Mere becoming the best resort in the region. Together we can make a real difference and change the lives of those in need.”

With the sun shining and air crisp cold the golf day was to be a sure success, our apprentice fundraiser Liam Webster, ISVA Kaelin Fletcher-Taylor and Nisaa made sure of it! The day was filled with golfers doing what they do best, along with donating to our organisation they took part in the ‘hit the green’ challenge (not meant for the average golfer). In total ended up raising a whopping £3,861!
