Great Manchester Run (2022)

On Sunday 22nd May 2022, after much training (and an oooops/OUCH!), 10 male survivors all of whom met during their time accessing We Are Survivors (then Survivors Manchester) services laced up their trainers and oiled the wheels on the wheelchair (we did say there was an ouch!) and took to the streets to run the Great Manchester 10k.

This phenomenal band of brothers were joined on the run by actor Aiden O’Callaghan who was on a break from filming the Ben Mitchell Rape Storyline on BBC’s Eastenders. Aiden donned his running top and joined the lads in raising awareness and a massive £5000!
